Slime Isles

Slime Isles app privacy

Effective 2026-11-06 · NornWorks LLC · dev@nornworks.com

This policy covers Slime Isles, a game for Android (package name com.nornworks.slimeisles) made by NornWorks LLC (“we”, “us”). It explains what information the game handles, where that information is stored and what you can do about it. It covers only the app. The website slimeisles.com is a plain information page.

The short version

  • You don’t create an account or sign in. The game has no login.
  • The game plays fully offline. The only time it connects to the internet is to talk to Google Play when you buy or restore a purchase.
  • Your progress is saved on your phone and nowhere else. We never receive it.
  • The game shows no ads, contains no advertising service and doesn’t read your device’s advertising ID.
  • The game contains no analytics, crash-reporting or tracking service, so we don’t see how, when or whether you play.
  • You can’t buy anything in this version of the game.
  • We don’t collect, sell, rent or share any information about you.

What the game stores on your phone

The game writes a few small files to its private storage on your phone. Other apps can’t read them.

  • Your island save (profile.json, with a backup copy), which holds:
    • coins, island level and what is planted where;
    • the slimes you hold, your collection index and your defences;
    • raid history against the game’s computer-controlled rival islands;
    • timers, such as when you last played, so your slimes can keep growing while you are away.
  • A random game ID, made the first time you play. The game uses it only to generate your rival islands and weather rolls. It isn’t linked to your name, email, phone number, Google account or any device identifier, and it never leaves your phone.
  • Settings (settings.json): whether sound is on, and which tutorial hints you have already seen.

The game reads the phone’s clock to work out how long you were away. It requests no Android permissions. It doesn’t use your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files or any other personal data.

Android’s cloud backup is switched off for this game, so these files are not copied to your Google account.

Deleting your data

To permanently delete everything the game stored, do either of these:

  • uninstall the game;
  • open Android Settings > Apps > Slime Isles > Storage and tap “Clear storage”.

We never receive your data, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

Children

The game is meant for players aged 13 and over. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Google Play

You download the game from Google Play, which Google runs under its own privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Through Play Console, Google may show us totals such as install counts, ratings and crash rates. These don’t identify you.

In-app purchases

The game offers optional one-time purchases (passes and item packs) through Google Play Billing. Google Play handles the payment under its own privacy policy and terms; we never see your card, bank or billing details. The game keeps a record of what you bought on your device so it can grant and restore your purchases, and it asks Google Play which items your Google account owns when you open the game or tap “Restore purchases”. Google’s Play Billing library may send Google diagnostic information about the purchase flow; see Google’s privacy policy for how Google handles it. The game does not send purchase information anywhere else. There are no ads and no paid random items.

Changes

If a future version adds any other way for information to leave your phone, this policy will say so first, and the effective date above will change.
